Capabilities and qualifications
Our staff consists of seven licensed land surveyors, two A.C.S.M. certified hydrographic surveyors and one civil engineer.
C & C Technologies, Inc.’s licensed professionals, project managers and party chiefs have more than 150 years of combined experience in cadastral, boundary, topographic, hydrographic, precise horizontal and vertical control, shallow water hazard surveys, preliminary pipeline surveys, depth-of-cover/as-built pipeline surveys, construction stakeout of pipelines and quantity/volume surveys. These surveys were conducted for federal and state agencies, oil and gas companies, pipeline companies and other industrial and private entities.
C & C’s field personnel are trained and experienced in the use of Global Positioning System equipment, electronic total stations with data collectors, Win-Frog navigation software, fathometers, pipeline locators, gradiometers, magnetometers, small boat operations, first aid and safety.
C & C’s technical staff is experienced at working with title documents, government field notes and plats, topographic maps and aerial photographs, computing and compiling of field data. They are well versed in preparing alignment charts, plan and profile maps, right-of-way drawings, unitization drawings, aerial photo mapping, legal descriptions and preparing drawings for a variety of governmental agencies used for permitting. These drawings are prepared in AutoCAD Map using C & C’s proprietary mapping software.
Since its inception in 1992, C & C has performed thousands of survey and/or mapping projects for companies and agencies such as Williams Gas Pipeline (Transco), Williams Energy Group, Exxon Company USA, Texaco E&P, Texaco Pipeline Company, Dixie Pipeline Company, Equilon Pipeline Company, Phillips Petroleum Company, Marathon Pipeline Company, USGS, Army Corps Of Engineers, NOAA, US Dept of Agriculture, U.S. Fish & Wildlife and the State Agency Dept. of Natural Resources.
