Geophysical vessels

C & C Technologies, Inc. has six hull-mounted and one AUV-mounted Simrad multibeam systems.

C & C’s geophysical division currently has three vessels working in the Gulf of Mexico to meet the shallow and deepwater survey requirements of our clients.

These vessels are capable of providing route surveys, block hazard and archaeological area studies, 2D high-resolution seismic surveys, anchor clearances and site-specific surveys.

For shallow hazard and archaeological surveys on the shelf, the vessels can be equipped with a variety of sonar, magnetometer and seismic systems, including a recently acquired state-of-the-art Hydroscience Seismic Recording System to meet the multichannel seismic requirements of the current MMS Archaeological and Shallow Hazard NTLs.

Past Foundation Deep Wrecks

The Deep Wrecks Project website is a unique program of research to study how structures or objects function as artificial reefs in deep water. Sunken vessels will be documented and studied as historic sites for nomination to the National Register of Historic Places.
