Marine archaeological assessments C & C's marine archaeologists produce reports addressing the impact of proposed pipelines, telecommunication cables, oil and gas production facilities, platforms, dredging and exploration drilling on historical and prehistoric archaeological sites. These reports comply with Minerals Management Service and Corps of Engineer regulations. Research of historical vessels that may have foundered in the area of interest is conducted and reported. This type of research led C & C's archaeologists to discover the German U-boat, U-166, in more than 5,000 feet of water in the north-central Gulf of Mexico.
